- We can arrange technical support and video recording for special events. If you are planning or organising a special University event on campus (e.g. public lecture, guest lecture or academic forum), consider recording the event to publish to the University’s iTunes U public site; the University website; or to webcast it as a live event for interstate or overseas viewers.
- Recommended venues
- Recommended venues for your conference or special event.
- Linking theatres
- Lecture theatres in the Economics & Commerce, Medical, Old Arts, Elisabeth Murdoch, David Caro (Physics) and Architecture buildings can be linked to provide overflow capacity for special events.
- Equipment hire ceased
- Learning Space Support ceased to provide portable equipment hire from 1 August 2006.
- iTunes U public channel
- The University of Melbourne is one of six Australian Universities to have a public channel on Apple’s iTunes U, providing free access to downloadable educational content including guest speeches, public lectures, dean’s lectures and other recorded university events to a world-wide audience as podcasts, videos or PDF document
