- Who should I contact if I have any queries about the services provided by Learning Environments (LE)?

Your first point of contact is the LSS service desk for all enquiries, and for assistance in shared learning spaces or common meeting rooms.

- 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, during semesters one and two
- 9am - 5pm, Saturday, during semester two
- 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, during winter recess, examination period, and summer term.

- Who should I contact if I have any queries about using the Learning Management System (LMS)?

- Do you loan or hire any audio visual equipment to staff or students?

No – we ceased our loan service in August 2006 and no longer provide any equipment for loan or hire. Audio visual equipment hire is available via the Student Union.
- Do you provide technical assistance for shared learning spaces?

Yes – technical support is available during our current service coverage hours and according to our service target agreement.
- Do you support shared meetings rooms?

Yes – technical support is available during our current service coverage hours. common meeting rooms supported by LSS.
- Do you support meetings held in the Council Chamber?

Yes – technical support is available during our current service coverage hours.
Technical support is a fee-for-service at $75 per hour.
Submit requests for technical support via our event support booking form at least 10 business days prior to the meeting date to confirm the availability of technical support and costing.
- Can special events being held on the Parkville campus be recorded?

Yes – video and audio recording facilities are available.

- Is technical support available for Open Day?

Yes – the LSS service desk operates on Open Day, providing technical support for all shared learning spaces used for Open Day activities.
- I am experiencing problems trying to listen to a lecture capture recording. Who can I contact for assistance?

Lecture capture has an electronic problem reporting system. Each individual recording posted within each subject has a “Report a problem with this recording” link. When submitting a problem report using this link, information about your computer and its setup is collected which can help find a solution to your problem. Replies are made as soon as possible by email, as it is easier to provide the complex advice that is sometimes required.
